BNKR

This piece of solid timber had been left outside to air dry for more than 4 years to get its particular grey colour. 

Originally one piece of 5m length and more than 1000kg in weight, we cut it in a way to make a solid end piece and 20 individual wooden blocks that could be used for sitting at the BNKR gallery in Berlin. The cutting was done in Berlin by Michael Kleinert with a chainsaw and wood mizer.
